For beginner and experienced yogis. This Next Breath 1 & 2 is a step by step, training track of independent study on the breath. This is a slow daily course of actions that will absolutely bring you to an abundant and healthy lifestyle.

Work with your breath everyday. The changes are tiny and almost imperceptible. You take one step forward. Then you take another. With support, you take little steps, day after day after day. Time is on your side, because you are moving in the right direction with your life by putting a significant amount of focus on the breath. Eventually, you come back to the breath many times through your day. You live “inside” every breath, aware of your posture, aware of your mind, and tuned into feedback.

People LOVE This Next Breath 1. It’s an easy to follow training track. Create your morning intentionally by taking planned steps first thing each day. The yogis called it “Dinacharya." Dinacharya is about tuning into the cycles of life. You wake up in the morning and do a series of consciously chosen action steps. Small things, like a short breath practice will have little or no effect when done now and then, but when performed everyday, yield remarkable outcomes. Practice Everyday is the first step.

This Next Breath

emphasizes Left Right Breath

with hundreds of playful ways of mindfully meditating on the breath and being present. (Anuloma Viloma/Nadi Shodhana) In the past, traditional teachings have focused on sitting on the floor, floating the arm, perfection, control, and breath ratios which leads to many problems:

  1. Pain and suffering.

  2. Lack of practice. 10 minutes is not sufficient.

  3. Sore shoulders, chronic neck and back pain.

  4. A lack of questioning “the rules.”

  5. Misdirection of purpose. “It is not about the nostrils.”

  6. Vague ideas of what its purpose is. “Cleaning the naadees?”

    This Next Breath

    has problem solved

the traditional rules we were given, brought some scientific understanding to the the practice and found a way so that EVERYONE can be fully engaged and practice playfully for a minimum of 24 minutes of breath meditation everyday. 24 minutes (one “Ghatikaa”) is where the physiological results happen when done everyday, uninterrupted, for months. it will unleash your creativity, joy and many dozens of extraordinary effects. (What are those?)

Some days, we practice different hand positions.. EAch finger is unique and powerful in its effect. by practice alone, you will come to know. Book learning is useless here.

the hands and fingers can direct the breath in different ways

"Somewhere in all that time, spending many hours in your warm supportive space, something profoundly changed about me...You were right. It is all about the breath. Always the breath."

Classical position #2

Let go

Controlling the breath is not necessary. Physiologically, your breath will naturally slow down when you follow these practices… and so much more. Left Right Breath is one of those practices where you will discover new internal things about yourself, every morning from something as “ordinary” as the breath.
